How to Make Cincinnati Chili

Step-by-Step

  1. In larges killet, over medium-high heat, saute onion and ground beef, until beef is browned.
Add garlic, chili powder and stir until combined.
  2. Add allspice, cinnamon, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, cocoa, tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce, cider vinegar, and water.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

Traditionally Cincinnati Chili is served over spaghetti, we add shredded cheddar cheese on top. This is called a 3-way.

This chili is also great on top of hot dogs, add cheese and you have a great cheese coney.....enjoy!
