I was introduced to this recipe when I came into my partners large family. It's at every family function and doesn't last long. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Ingredients For oriental salad

  • 3
    breasts of cooked chicken (left overs are the best!)
  • 1 sm
    head of cabbage green or purple
  • 2 pkg
    oriental flavor, oodles of noodles
  • 1 bunch
    scallions (use white part)
  • 3 Tbsp
    sunflower seeds
  • 3/4 c
    veg or olive oil
  • 6 Tbsp
    white wine vinegar (or rice vinegar works also)
  • 1 pkg
    oriental seasoning (from package of noodles)
  • 4 Tbsp
    sugar (i've also used the equivilant sugar substitute)
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    halved grapes...green or red

How To Make oriental salad

  • 1
    Chop up cooked chicken, scallions and cabbage and cut grapes in half. Break up oodles of noodles into small pieces. Combine oil, vinegar, seasoning, sugar and salt.

    Pour over mix, toss and let it sit for 5- 10 minutes.
