This is so good. My family from out of town always went to a local Italian place to get this soup. Now they ask me to make it for them when they visit. This is my recipe.

Ingredients For italian wedding soup

1egg

3/4 cgrated parmesan cheese

1/2 cdry bread crumbs

1 smonion, chopped
-
3/4 tspsalt, divided
-
1-1/4 tsppepper, divided
-
1-1/4 tspgarlic powder, divided
-
2 lbground beef
-
2 qtchcken broth
-
1/3 cchopped fresh sminach
-
1 tsponion powder
-
1 tspdried parsley flakes
-
1-1/4 ccooked medium pasta shells or spirals
How To Make italian wedding soup

1In a large bowl, combine the egg, cheese, bread crumbs,onion

21/4 teaspoon salt

31/4 teaspoon pepper
-
4Crumble beef over mixture and blend well

5Shape into 1-inch balls

6In a dutch oven, cook meatballs in small batches until no longer pink; drain

7Add broth, spinach, onion powder, parsley and remainging salt, pepper and garlic powder

8Bring to a boil.

9Reduce heat; simmer uncoveed for 5 minutes

10Stir in pasta; heat through until posta is tender.
