A recipe that my mom served us when I was a child. They are so delicious. She always served them with her very popular choke cherry homemade syrup.

How to Make Mom's German Pancakes

Step-by-Step

  1. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar
  2. Add flour and milk and mix together
  3. Beat the egg whites to a soft peak
  4. Fold egg whites into the yolk mixture
  5. Pour batter onto a hot greased grill until golden brown on both sides.
  6. This Batter also makes delicious waffles.
  7. Serve with your choice of warm maple syrup or fruit toppings.
