Ingredients

  • 2 c
    heavy whipping cream
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 4 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 16 oz
    marscapone cheese
  • 1 pkg
    lady fingers
  • 2 Tbsp
    vanilla
  • 6 c
    very strong coffee
  • ·
    cocoa powder for dusting the top of tiramisu

How to Make Tiramisu

Step-by-Step

  1. Make a 6 cup pot of coffee, using 2/3 cup of coffee in the filter and let cool for about 10 mins.
  2. Mix 2 cups whipping cream and 4 tbls sugar and vanilla and whip with mixture into stiff peaks. Then refrigerate until needed again.
  3. Whip marscapone cheese, 1 cup sugar and 4 tbls of the made coffee until smooth. Then fold whipping cream into mascapone mixture.
  4. In a 11X13?dish, put one layer of lady fingers and brush coffee on them until pretty saturated with coffee. Then spread 1/2 the cream mixture on lady fingers and then dust with cocoa powder. Repeat last 2 steps and then refrigerate at least 2 hrs before serving.
