I love these because they are so crsip, however when my beloved daughter-in-law makes them they are not so crisp, but her canasta group always asks for them.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour, do not sift
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    crushed cornflakes
  • 3/4 c
    crushed macadamia nuts

How to Make Macadamia Nut Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in flour and baking soda. Stir in cornflakes and nuts. Place walnut sized balls on cookie sheet. Flatten with heel of hand. Bake at 350 8-10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.Enjoy
