Slow Cooker Sloppy Joe

My family loves sloppy joes and I love making them. They are quick and easy not to mention very cost friendly. The only downfall is the small can of sloppy joe sauce doesn't make much and it's loaded with preservatives. I've thought about trying to make the sauce myself but never attempted it because that little can of sauce was so cheap. Besides, why would I want to put out so much more effort for one of my easy go to meals? When I came across a simple recipe I was excited. It took slightly more effort than opening the can of sloppy joe sauce and the flavor is out of this world. I added a hint of buffalo sauce which gives the sauce a little tang without making it spicy. I love that it is a crockpot recipe. I can make it when my 3 month old is napping in the morning and let it sit until dinner.
