I have a large collection of strawberry recipes, going back 50 or moe years, since my Dad grew strawberries by the acre. This is a more recent recipe and uses Strawberry Cake mix as a stater.

1strawberry cake mix

1/4 cwater

2eggs
-
1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1(12 oz.) pkg. mini chocolate chips

1/2 cchopped walnuts

1/4 cbutter, softened
How To Make strawberry chocolate chip bars

1Mix all ingredients except nuts and chips with mixer. Once mixed, stir in nuts and chips. Grease and flour a 9 by 13 inch cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Frost with creamed cheese icing and cut in squares to serve.
