- For 12 to 20 lb. ham. Scrub and soak for 24 hrs in cold water.
- Remove tough fat skin. Place in roaster with water and ginger ale. Cover.
- Place in cold oven. Heat to 400 degrees and hold for 20 minutes. Turn oven off.
Wait 4 hours, reheat oven to 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn off oven and leave over night.
DO NOT OPEN OVEN THE ENTIRE TIME.
