You can substitute edamame beans for snow peas, and I put this over rice. My family loves this

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    sesame seeds
  • 2
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 lb
    beef strips
  • 10 oz
    snow pea pods, trimmed
  • 2
    zucchini, chopped
  • 3 tsp
    honey
  • 1 tsp
    oyster sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • PINEAPPLE SALSA

  • 1/2
    fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh chives, snipped
  • 2 Tbsp
    lime juice
  • 1
    fresh red chile, chopped

How to Make Honey Beef with Pineapple Salsa

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oil in wok over medium heat.
  2. Add sesame seeds and garlic and stir fry for 2 minutes or until seeds are golden.
  3. Remove from wok and set aside.
  4. Add beef to wok.
  5. Stir fry 2 minutes or until brown.
  6. Add snow peas, honey and soy and oyster sauces.
  7. Return sesame seed mixture to wok and stir fry for 3 minutes or until sauce thickens.
  8. To make salsa, place pineapple, sugar, chives, lime juice and chilli in a bowl.
  9. Toss to combine.
  10. Serve with beef.
