  • 1/4
    cup ground cumin
  • 2
    tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1
    tablespoon oregano
  • 1
    tablespoon cayenne, or more to taste

How to Make BONNIE'S HOMEMADE CHILI POWDER

Step-by-Step

  1. Remove stems and most of the seeds from the chili peppers; shred coarsely. Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor container and whirl until powdered; let chili powder settle before removing the blender lid. Store in a container with a tight lid. Makes 1 cup.
