Ingredients For healthy oat granola

  • 1 2/3 c
    oat bran (cream of wheat or malto) uncooked
  • 1 c
    quick or old fashioned oats, uncooked
  • 1/3 c
    nonfat dry milk solids
  • 1/4 c
    honey
  • 1/4 c
    hulled sunflower seeds
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegtable oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • 1 tsp
    grated orange peel
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3/4 c
    dried banana chips
  • 1/2 c
    raisins

How To Make healthy oat granola

  • 1
    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oat bran, oats, dry milk, honey, sunflower seeds, oil, water, orange peel, and vanilla. Spread in a 13x9 inch pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown., stirring once after 10 minutes. Stir in banana chips and raisins. Cool completely. Store in air tight container up to 1 week, maybe served warm or cold. Use as a topping.
