This is a true taste of Hawaii! I got this recipe from an island boy when I lived there. This marinade always takes me back to the islands.

  • 2/3 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • 5 clove
    chopped fresh garlic
  • 2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 3
    chopped scallions

How to Make Hawaiian Teriyaki Marinade


  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into an airtight zip-lock bag over desired meat. Marinate for at least 3 hours.
    This is excellent with pork tenderloin, chicken or beef.
    It makes THE BEST teriyaki chicken wings for the big game.
