Ingredients For banana pudding

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    milk, whole
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 box
    vanilla wafers
  • 6 to 8 lg
    bananas

How To Make banana pudding

    Before I begin I layer my bananas and wafers in a dish. In a heavy boiler combine sugar, flour and salt and eggs. Whisk together then add milk. Cook over medium heat whisking CONSTANTLY until thick. Watch it closely as it will scorch. I use a WHISK. Just before it gets thick add vanilla

    When pudding reaches desired thickness immediately pour over layered bananas and wafers. Ready to eat hot or cold!
