How to Make Fresh Homemade Garlic Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven to 375
  2. slice bread into about 1/2-1 inch slices and lay on a aluminum foil-covered cookie sheet
  3. finely chop garlic
  4. melt butter in a pan and add garlic and salt
  5. cook on low for a few minutes (do not let butter or garlic burn)
  6. spoon or brush about 1 tablespoon of the garlic/butter mixture onto each slice of bread
  7. sprinkle 1 tablespoon of asiago onto each slice
  8. bake for about 7 minutes
