I got this recipe from my sister Joann, who died about 10 years ago. She was a great southern cook and I'm very glad to share this with you.

Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    red salon
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    green peppers chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    cormeal
  • 2 c
    soft bread crumbs
  • 2
    eggs beaten
  • 1
    onion minced
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    shortening
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice

How to Make Salmon Loaf

Step-by-Step

  1. drain and debone fish, flake fish with a fork mix all ingredients together then press into a greased shallow baking dish.
  2. bake at 375 for 40 minutes.
