Ingredients

  • 4 c
    cold water
  • 2 c
    apple cider
  • 1/2 c
    pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 c
    table salt
  • 2 lb
    bone-in pork chops
  • 1 tsp
    olive oil, light
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper

How to Make cider brined pork chops

Step-by-Step

  1. get a big bowl and a 1 gallon ziploc bag -put bag in bowl and add the first 4 ingredients mix well till salt is dissolved. add pork chops and close bag and make sure pork chops are fully covered.
  2. put in fridge for 3- 4 hours then take out pat dry. massage with olive oil, salt and pepper. put on heated grill. ( i use the foreman grill!)
  3. cook 4 to 10 minutes and wallah! a great meal. i serve with buttered noodles and corn.
