This recipe is so quick and easy anybody can do it. I like oven-fried chicken because it is delicious, and you are not sweating over a hot pot of oil to get a good fried chicken.

Ingredients For oven-fried chicken

    whole chicken; cut into separate pieces
  • 2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    butter, melted

How To Make oven-fried chicken

    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Cut the whole chicken into pieces.

    Add flour and salt to a resealable bag. Add the chicken pieces and shake until coated.

    Shake excess flour off of the chicken. Place the chicken in a low dish or rimmed baking sheet.

    Pour the melted butter over the top of each piece of chicken.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes to 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
