Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    cake mix, chocolate fudge
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 24 large
    marshmallows
  • 14 oz
    coconut
  • ICING INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1.5 c
    chocolate chips

How to Make Chocolate Coconut Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Bake chocolate cake mix in a large sheet cake pan.
  2. While cake is baking, mix together next three ingredients, milk, sugar and marshmallows. Heat until marshmallows are melted.
  3. Remove from heat and add 14 ounces coconut. Spread above mixture on slightly warm cake.
  4. FOR THE ICING: Mix together first three ingredients, cook until boiling. Take off heat.
  5. Add chocolate chips. Stir until melted.
  6. Spread on cake.
