1/2 tspsalt

1/2 ccream

1/8 tsppepper

1 cchicken stock

1/2 tspthyme

1 smbay leaf

1 tspsalt

1carrots, peeled and quartered

2whole cloves

4sprigs fresh parsley

1 smonion, quartered

1celery stalk

1/4 cchopped parsley
How To Make chicken with cream sauce

1Put the chicken in the crockpot and cover with water.

2Add celery, carrot, onion and salt.

3Tie parsley, bay leaf, cloves and thyme in a small square of cheese cloth, add to the pot.

4Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours.

5Melt 4 tablespoons butter in a medium saucepan.

6Stir in flour and cook over low heat for several mins.

7Gradually stir in stock.

8Simmer until smooth.

9Add salt, pepper, parsley and cream.

10Remove chicken from pot, slice and serve with the creamy sauce.
