A friend of mine made this for a party. She served it in the crock pot with paper cups and spoons along side. We all loved it and wanted the recipe. I couldn't believe how easy it was to make. It's really more like a chicken chili. Very hearty and delish. Perfect for dinner on a cold winter's night.

Ingredients

  • 4-5
    boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 can(s)
    stewed tomatoes (approx. 14 oz)
  • 2 can(s)
    black beans (approx. 14 oz.)
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato sauce (approx. 14 oz.)
  • 1 jar(s)
    salsa (small)
  • 1 can(s)
    mexican style corn
  • ·
    hot sauce to taste
  • ·
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • ·
    nacho chips - broken up

How to Make Chicken Taco Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Place all ingredients in crock pot on high for 4 hours.
  2. Remove chicken and shred.
  3. Return shredded chicken to pot and stir well.
  4. Serve with the shredded cheese and nacho chip pieces.
