This recipe was given to me when I first got married back in 1973 by a fellow navy wife. It's easy to make and extreemly moist and flavorful.

How to Make CHOCOLATE MAYONAISE CAKE

Step-by-Step

  1. MIX TOGETHER THE FLOUR, SUGAR, BAKING SODA & COCOA WITH A WIRE WISK.
  2. ADD THE WATER & MAYONAISE AND STIR WELL.
  3. ADD THE VANILLA LAST AND STIR TO COMBINE.
  4. PUT INTO A WELL GREASED AND FLOURED CAKE PAN. BAKE FOR 40-45 MINUTES AT 350.
