I just adopted this recipe for my collection, cant wait to cook an updated version.

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2
    onions, finely chopped
  • 2
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 14 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c
    red wine
  • 1
    green bell pepper
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano

How to Make Beef Spaghetti Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan set over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef to onions and garlic.
  3. Saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Add remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover and bring to a boil, stirring often.
  6. Then, reduce heat and simmer, stirring often for at least 5 minutes.
