My husband loves blackberry cobbler, and was always asking me to make one. Here is a simple recipe with a light crust that he enjoyed!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1 pkg
    frozen blackberries, thawed

How to Make Blackberry Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13"x9" baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until well combined. Batter may be a bit lumpy.
  3. Pour melted butter into greased baking pan. Pour batter ingredients over butter. Spoon blackberries on top of the batter. Bake for 45 minutes, or until batter is golden brown.
  4. Optional: Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
