This is an easy way to have a hot supper in a flash... perfect for those extra-hectic days! All you need to complete the meal is a salad and some crusty bread.

3 lbstew beef, cubed

2 ozred wine

1 can(s)tomatoes with green chiles, large

1 Tbspsugar

6carrots, sliced

3medium potatoes, cubed

1/4 tspthyme

3medium onions, coarsely chopped

How to Make 5-Hour Beef Stew
- Cut beef into cubes and place in deep casserole. Pour red wine over meat.
- Cube vegetables and place on top of meat.
- Add seasonings and bake for 5 hours at 300.
