    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    shortening
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 5
    eggs
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    coconut extract
  • 1 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1 tsp
    rum extract
  • 1 tsp
    butter flavoring
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make 5 FLAVOR POUND CAKE

Step-by-Step

  1. CREAM BUTTER, SHORTENING, AND SUGAR.
  2. ADD EGGS.
  3. MIX FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER TOGETHER AND ADD, ALTERNATING WITH MILK, MIXING IN BETWEEN.
  4. ADD EXTRACTS.
  5. BAKE AT 350º IN BUNDT PAN FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 1/2 HOURS OR UNTIL INSERTED TOOTHPICK IS CLEAN UPON REMOVAL.
  6. MAKE GLAZE: 1 CUP SUGAR, 2 CUPS WATER, 1 TEASPOON OF ALL EXTRACTS. COOK UNTIL THICK.
  7. POUR HOT GLAZE ON HOT CAKE AND WAIT 10 MINUTES BEFORE REMOVING FROM PAN.
