This is the easiest soup I have ever made. I made this soup and my kids ate it up. My niece and nephew even love it. when I make it , I take the leftovers(if there are any) to work with me and they are even better than the day before.

Ingredients For pea soup

  • 1 bag
    dries split peas
  • 1
    carrot
  • 1
    onion
  • 3
    cloves of garlic
  • 1 can
    chicken stock
  • 1
    smoked hamhock
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • water

How To Make pea soup

  • 1
    finely dice all the vegetables, garlic add to the crockpot and add the bag of split peas
  • 2
    add the ham hock chicken stock and enough water to cover the peas
  • 3
    salt and pepper to taste. Cover it and Let it simmer til all the vegetables are melted away.

    I put it all in the crockpot before I got to work and let it go on low all day. Man the house smells good when I get home.
