this is my version of a recipe for valentines day.

Ingredients For sweetheart cabbage an apples

  • 2 lg
    heads of cabbage ,chopped
  • 4
    apples, granny smith, peeled , cored cut into 8 slices each
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make sweetheart cabbage an apples

  • 1
    place the chopped cabbage, the apples, butter in a large pot filled 1/2 the way up the ingrediants. bring it to a boil then turn it down to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes. after that add your sugar, salt and pepper and stir well. cook for an additioal 30 minutes. serve hot with some rice (optional)
