I threw this together yesterday and it was so good I got one bowl my husband hogged the rest, lol. I put this over cornbread waffles with sour cream, cheese and olives.

Ingredients For my chili

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1
    onion
  • 1 can
diced tomatoes w/ garlic and onion
  • 1 can
diced tomatoes w/ garlic, oregeno and basil
  • 2 can
    light red kidney beans
  • 3 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 can
    tomatoe sauce

How To Make my chili

  • 1
In a frying pan, brown beef and add chopped up onion, 1 TBSP garlic and a dash of red peppers. Cook together until all meat is done.
  • 2
Drain any grease and put in crock pot.
  • 3
Stir in the rest of the ingredients. If it looks to thick add a water. I put some water in the tomato sauce can and added it.
  • 4
Put lid on and cook on low for 6 hours. I ate mine after 5 hours but the longer you let it cook the more you can taste the spices.
