The first time I ever made this I was very young to make a long story short I ended up throwing it away right along with the pan I was using I got a little better at making it now. Enjoy

Ingredients For my mistake beef stew

  • 2 lb
    beef chuck roast(diced)
  • 1 lg
    onion(sliced)
  • 3 clove
    garlic(sliced)
  • 1 stalk
    celery(diced)
  • 3 lg
    carrots (chunked)
  • 4 lg
    potatoes(chunked)
  • 2 c
    fresh grean beans
  • 3 c
    tomato juice
  • 2 c
    beef broth
  • SEASONED FLOUR
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    paprica
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How To Make my mistake beef stew

    Mix seasoned flour; add beef chunks set aside.

    Melt shortening in sauté pan add sliced onions sauté on low till onion is translucent add garlic and cook about 2 minutes.

    Remove from pan set aside; shake excess flour from beef add to pan that had onion and brown on all sides.

    Add tomato juice and all veggies to slow cooker and turn on high.

    When beef is browned pour the beef broth into pan and deglaze. Add to slow cooker.

    Cook about 4 hours on high. Serve
