this recipe was created by my father back in the 60's .i came from a family of twelve children and my father had to make ends meet,so he made a huge pot of soup and he called it( specialty).i think we had it once a week ,never got tired of it ,all of us children still make it today and never adding or taking away any ingredients,it just wouldn't be the same ,sure hope you enjoy it as much as we did and still do today .

Ingredients For daddy's specialty !

  • 1 pkg
    hot dogs (beef or pork)
  • 1 pkg
    mild sausage (or hot)
  • 4 can
    bushes vegetarian baked beans
  • 6 Tbsp
    tabasco sauce (more or less what ever you like )
  • 4 can
    use the cans from the beans to add the water .
  • DADS SPECIALTY SOUP

How To Make daddy's specialty !

    put beans and water and Tabasco sauce in a large pot and start cooking .

    slice all hot dogs into small round bite size pieces and fry until cooked and drain off oil , add to beans ,

    crumble sausage up into small pieces and fry until cooked ,drain and add to beans ,

    let the mixture simmer on low for a good hour ,

    eat with loaf bread or home made biscuits ,yum ,great for a cold winter night ,enjoy

    for more soup just double the recipe .
