Ingredients For oyster-artichoke soup

1/2 stickbutter

1bunch green onions, finely chopped

1 canartichoke hearts, drained and cut into bite-sized pieces

1 canchicken broth, large

3 Tbspflour

10 ozjar of oysters
-
cayenne pepper
-
worcestershire sauce
-
salt
How To Make oyster-artichoke soup

1Melt butter and saute green onions and garlic until soft.

2Add artichokes, sprinkled with flour, and stir to coat well.

3DO NOT BROWN.

4Add chicken stock; let it simmer for 15 minutes.

5Drain oysters, reserving the liquid, and checking for shell bits and sand.

6Add oysters and their liquid to the soup.

7Season to taste, using cayenne pepper, worcestershire, and salt.

8Simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
