Ingredients For sis's meatball stew

1egg, beaten
-
1 csoft bread crumbs

1/4 cfinely chopped onion
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tspdried marjoram
-
1/2 tspdried thyme
-
1 lbground beef
-
2 Tbspvegetable oil
-
2 can14.5 oz. beef broth
-
2 cancondensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
-
4medium potatoes, cut into pieces
-
4medium carrots cut into small chunks
How To Make sis's meatball stew

1In a bowl combine egg, bread crumbs, chopped onion, salt, marjoram and thyme. Add beef and mix well. Shape into about 48 meatballs. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes till nicely browned, then drain off any grease.

2In a Dutch oven mix the broth, soup, potatoes, carrots and bring to a boil. Add the meatballs, reduce heat then simmer for 30 minutes, or till vegetables are tender.

3Serve with a crusty bread or garlic toast.
