Ingredients For red clam chowder

4 Tbspbutter

2 conion, finely minced

1 ccelery, chopped fine

5 cchicken broth
-
1&1/2 tspthyme, fresh

1bay leaf

1 tsplawry's seasoned salt or salt and pepper to taste

1 canitalian plum tomatoes, 2 lbs drain off liquid, chop tomatoes

1 cparsley, fresh, copped
-
2 mdpotatoes, chop into squares

2-3 small canclams
How To Make red clam chowder

1Melt butter, add onion & celery - low heat 20 minutes until vegetables are tender.

2Add chicken broth, thyme, bay leaf, seasoning salt, pepper, tomatoes, parsley & potatoes. Simmer 20 minutes medium fire, til potatoes are just tender.

35 minutes before serving ADD clams

4Remove bay leaf before serving. O
