Ingredients For southwestern chicken & dumpling corn chowder

  • 1 - 24 oz
    can dinty moore chicken & dumplings
  • 1 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 c
    salsa
  • 1 - 15 oz. can
    black beans, drained
  • 1 - 11 oz can
    corn with green & red bell peppers, undrained
  • 1/4 tsp
    chili powder
  • 2-8
    flour tortillas, cut into thin strips & fried
  • sour cream
  • guacamole
  • fresh cliatro sprigs, for garnish

How To Make southwestern chicken & dumpling corn chowder

    In a large saucepan,combine chicken & dumplings salsa,beans,corn,and chili powder. Heat over med. heat until simmering about 10-12 min. To serve, ladle chowder into bowls and top with tortilla strips,sour cream,and guacamole, if desired.

    Sere with fresh cilantro sprigs.
