This was made for a family get together and it was so good that I thought I should share the recipe.

Ingredients For ellen's taco soup

  • 1 can
    green chiles, mild
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 pkg
    ranch dressing mix
  • 2 lb
    hamburger, browned and drained
  • 1 can
    hominy, undrained
  • 1 can
    pinto beans, undrained
  • 1 can
    red kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes, italian flavor
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes, mild
  • 1 1/2 c
    water or tomato juice

How To Make ellen's taco soup

  • 1
    Brown and drain the hamburger. Add remaining ingredients and simmer. Serve with corn chips, sour cream, or shredded cheese.
