A very easy recipe; this comes from a little cookbook I found at a thrift store;called: The Best Little Cookbook in the West; written and compiled by Loaun Werner Vaad, with illustrations and cartoons by Laura Karlen. Ihad never heard of popcorn balls made with Jello; maybe you have. They're pretty good and a fun variation on a classic. Great for 4th of July, as you can color them bright red, white and bright blue! (separately, then combine red white and blue in a popcorn ball)!

Ingredients For barn dance popcorn balls

1 smpkg of fruit flavored gelatin

1 csugar

1 cwhite corn syrup

1 tspbaking soda
How To Make barn dance popcorn balls

1Mix together and heat to boiling. Take off burner and add soda. Mixture will expand. Pour over approximately 4 qts of popped corn and shape into balls.
