Found this 3 ingredient recipe which can be changed each time you make them. Red Velvet with Chocolate Chips, Dark Chocolate with White Chocolate Chips, or even add Marshmallows and nuts to make a Rocky Road Delight.

Ingredients For butter cookies

  • 1 box
    cake mix, any flavor
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    chocolate chips
  • BUTTER COOKIES

How To Make butter cookies

    Melt 1 cup butter
  • 2
    Add butter to cake mix
  • 3
    Add chocolate chips if desired.

    Mix ingredients and use an ice cream scoop to scoop batter onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes and let cool thoroughly before removing from cookie sheet. Makes about 20 large cookies.
