Ingredients For leesanne's granny-ola

  • 2 c
    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 c
    raisins
  • 1/2 c
    dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 c
    nuts (walnuts or almonds or both)
  • 1/3 c
    oil
  • 1/2 c
    coconut, shredded
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    honey and/or molasses
  • 1/2 c
    sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 c
    sesame seeds
  • 1/2 c
    pumpkins seeds
  • 1 tsp
    brewers yeast (optional)
  • 3/4 c
    wheat germ (optional)

How To Make leesanne's granny-ola

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees

    Mix oatmeal, wheat germ and yeast

    Pour in mix of oil, honey and vanilla, mix well

    Add the rest of the ingredients

    Bake on a cookie sheet for 20 minutes - stir after first 10 minutes - sometimes more.
