This is an easy snack and goes over well at parties, holiday's and TV watching. My son and husband like to eat this while watching football. It's a little spicy and real crunchy!

Ingredients For barbeque party mix

  • 6 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp
    ground barbecue seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    tabasco sauce
  • 3/4 c
    salted peanuts or mixed nuts
  • 6 c
    chex cereal any combination of cereals

How To Make barbeque party mix

  • 1
    Heat oven to 250^. Melt butter in shallow pan over low heat. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, barbecue seasoning, salt andTabascoo sauce. Add Chex cereal and nuts. Mix over low heat until all pieces are coated. Heat in oven 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes. Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
