Ingredients For tomato and basil bake

  • 1 lb
    cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped basil

How To Make tomato and basil bake

    In an 8-inch baking dish, combine the tomatoes, garlic and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

    In a preheated broiler, broil until the tomatoes are softened, stirring occasionally, for about 12 minutes.

    Combine the panko and the butter, then sprinkle over the tomatoes. Broil for 30 seconds, then sprinkle the basil over the top. Top with a little Parmesan cheese if desired.
