When I was a kid, my mom would take left over corn bread & make a type of stove top stuffing & called it CUSH. SHE ADDED CHOPPED VEGETABLES LIKE ONIONS, PEPPERS & CELERY & a pinch of sage , it was similiar to dressing except she made it on top of the stove. That is what this reminded me of, my husband requested Pork Roast for dinner, but I wanted Stuffed Pork Chops, so this dish was my solution. Using ingredients from the pantry & fridge, & it was not only economical but simple, tasty & easy to put together. My husband was impressed, & WE sort of got what both of us wanted for dinner. Try it.

PLEASE NOTE: I love cranberries in stuffing, but my husband prefers it plain, so I merely sprinkled a few whole cranberries over the top in the serving dish to show what it should look like.Cranberries adds a slightly tart flavor to the stuffing. Then removed them and just added the wholeberry cranberry sauce to my portion for dinner. My husband like everything plain and simple including me. Smile
