I can't remember where I found the recipe a few years ago. This has turned out to be a great way for my grandchildren to eat squash.

Ingredients For squash casserole

  • 3 md
    yellow squash
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken or celery soup
  • 1 box
    stove top stuffing (cornbread flavor)
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 md
    onion
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make squash casserole

  • 1
    boil squash and onion until tender, drain, add butter and soup, mix well, add stuffing mix and 1/2 of the cheese, mix well, pour into sprayed or greased 2 qt casserole, sprinkle remaining cheese on top. bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 mins.
