Ingredients For peas and mushrooms

  • 1
    small onion, chopped (optional)
  • 2
    cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 pkg
    (10 ounces) frozen green peas, thawed
  • 1 c
    sliced fresh mushrooms or jar sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1 tsp
    sugar

How To Make peas and mushrooms

    Cook peas according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

    In a skillet, saute, mushrooms, onion and garlic in butter until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in the peas, then season with sugar, salt and pepper. Cover, and reduce heat to low, and cook just until heated through.
