Well this is my first recipe posting, and it's a recipe I got from a co-worker...oh so many years ago...has some "southern" roots...and it's one of those recipes...that's a little of this, some of that..so measurements are a bit sketchy...but since THANKSgiving is rolling around, it's a recipe I am requested to bring to ALL family gatherings..if not me someone else usually does...so here goes....lol...and I know that cream cheese and corn DO NOT SOUND like they go togather, but this is AWESOME....

Ingredients For cream cheese corn

  • 1 block
    cream cheese...softened
  • 1 bag
    family size of frozen corn
  • 2 boxes
    green giant, niblets in butter
  • salt and pepper...to taste
  • butter ...to taste, but i use 1/2 to 1 stick

How To Make cream cheese corn

  • 1
Cook the bag of corn first as it states on the bag...drain off the water after you are done. Then cook the niblets in butter sauce ... all in microwave...combine these two corns togather...
  • 2
Stir in Cream Cheese...(softened), butter, salt and pepper to taste...This should look creamy and whiteish...so if one block of cream cheese isn't enough...add more til it looks creamy....
  • 3
I usually then heat it all togather in the microwave, so as to serve it hot....IT'S USUALLY GONE BEFORE ANYONE CAN TAKE SECONDS...
