I found this recipe in the recipe box that my daughters Grandmother gave me. Although I'm not sure where she got it. It has become a family favorite.

Ingredients For baked corn in sour cream

  • 5 slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 Tbsp
    onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 2 (12) oz
    cans whole kernnel corn,drained
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh parsley, chopped

How To Make baked corn in sour cream

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 2-quart casserole. Sauté onion in butter, blend in flour and salt.

    Gradually add sour cream, stirring until mixture is smooth.

    Heat to boiling, add corn and heat thoroughly,
  • 4
    Fold in half of the bacon. Spoon into greased casserole, top with parsley and remaining bacon. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes
