spinach-and-cheese casserole or prisnjac

This is my Mom's recipe that she used to make when all the family was together. I add lot's of herbs to it that I'm not listing here, play with it and see what your family likes best.

Ingredients For spinach-and-cheese casserole or prisnjac

  • 3
    beaten eggs
  • 1 lb
    cottage cheese, small curd
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter cut into small pieces
  • 1 pkg
    chopped spinach defrosted and drained
  • 12 oz
    "kraft cracker barrel cheese" cut into pieces
  • 2 Tbsp
    mixed herbs, dried.... i add a variety, like tarragon, oregano and thyme
  • 1/2 tsp
    each salt and pepper

How To Make spinach-and-cheese casserole or prisnjac

    Dump all ingredients into a bowl and mix lightly.

    Turn into an oiled 8X8 inch pan.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until set. Leftovers may be heated in the microwave.
