Always a winner !! Good way to get kids to eat broccoli. I've been asked for this recipe a million times!

Ingredients For broccoli/rice casserole

  • 2 box
    frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 box
    (small) minute rice
  • 3/4 pkg
    lg. velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 3 stick
    celery, chopped
  • 1 stick
    butter or margarine

How To Make broccoli/rice casserole

  • 1
    Saute' onion and celery until tender in butter or margarine. Cook rice and broccoli according to pkg. directions.

    In large mixing bowl, add cubed cheese and soups, stir to mix. Add hot ingredients as they become ready (rice, onion, broccoli) and stir. This will help to melt down the cheese.

    Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray and add casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until bubbly. Enjoy !!
