This is an authentic Swedish recipe. My grandmother made this for us during the Holidays.

Ingredients For swedish potato sausage

  • 2 lb
    potatoes,grind
  • 1 lb
    beef
  • 1 1/4 lb
    pork
  • 2-3
    onions
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    allspice
  • casings

How To Make swedish potato sausage

  • 1
    Leaving skins on potatoes, grind together first 4 ingredients.

    Add salt, pepper and allspice.

    Hold all in a roaster, mixing well..

    1# of sausage is roughly 1' of casing. Stuff casings. Freeze or boil in water for approx 45 minutes.
