This is a very easy recipe that my grandmother has been making for years. It can be served over egg noddles, mashed potatoes, or boiled potatoes. I have also tried this with other veggies, like corn, but any veggie will work. As far as seasonings garlic salt and pepper to taste is what I use, but any will work that suit your taste.

Ingredients For slop

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 10 1/2 oz
    condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    canned green beans
  • 1/2 can
    milk
  • 1 pkg
    egg noodles
  • salt, pepper
  • or other seasonings

How To Make slop

    Make the egg noodles according to the package.

    While the noodles are cooking : In a large deep skillet or fraying pan, brown the ground beef and drain off grease.

    After the meat is drained, add the canned green beans, or what ever veggie of choice, the soup. In the soup can pour a half can of milk and add to the skillet. Add salt, pepper, or other seasonings to taste. Mix together until all is coated and heated.

    Serve over the egg noodles, will make 4-6 portions depending on the serving size.
